Reid Statement On March Employment Report
U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid ^ | April 4, 2014 | U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid

Washington, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid made the following statement on the March employment report. According to the Labor Department, the economy added 192,000 jobs in March, while the unemployment rate remains unchanged at 6.7 percent. The department also revised up the figures for February, from 165,000 to 197,000, and private employment levels surpassed for the first time the pre-recession peak.

“This continued job growth is encouraging, but we need to do more to ensure that everyone in Nevada and across the country has a fair shot at the American Dream. Democrats have proposed common-sense policies to ensure that women receive equal pay for equal work and to ensure a fair minimum wage that would give more than 28 million Americans a raise. We will vote on these policies in the coming weeks and I hope Republicans will join us to pass them.

“My Republican colleagues have a choice: will they join Democrats to stand with the middle class, or will they continue to stand with the Koch brothers as they try to rig our political system to benefit billionaires like themselves? I hope that my Republican colleagues will put the Koch brothers’ radical agenda aside, and join us to pass common-sense policies that put the middle class first.”

I think all the projection and panic from him is realizing vote fraud is going to be watched more more closely this Nov.

So the unemployment rate remained unchanged, eh? It’s so nice that they are still writing fairy tales! I have wondered just how they will deal with the numbers if they pass retroactive benefits to all those that lost them in 12/14. When a million plus people suddenly land splat in the middle of their fantasy still unemployed.

Ol’ Hairy is getting the occupy wall street goons fluffed up and throwing some red meat to them for their upcoming re-launch. It’s not coincidence.

He doesn’t believe his own nonsense. The Dems are testing out whipping boys to campaign against.

If the “war on women worked,” anything can.

Why don’t the Republicans at least ‘learn’ from these Democrats how to make a point? The message may be wrong but they are very good at messaging.
