We didn't have the votes to stop Obamacare or defund it... And the press? They're totally owned by liberal elites...We could scream bloody murder and if it made us look good, the MSM would not cover it.

Yes, we can fight liberals but we don't live in a conservative land of unicorns.

Example: Let's say you're on a field of battle and you and your 16 buddies are up against 10,000 warriors... I'm on the sidelines pissed that your weapons aren't better quality...but you take them on and win... That means you're in the 'conservative land of unicorns'... because in the real world 16 against 10,000 means the 16 lose.

I mention this because usually only liberals live in Unicorn land... but I guess we have our version too.

We disagree on the media situation with the "shutdown". It wasn't just the media and the libs that were saying how unpopular the Republican stance was, it was McCain and the mini-McCains, the RINOs and other disgusting backstabbers who didn't want Ted Cruz and other constitutional conservatives taking reins of the situation. Nobody's going to change sides when we have disgusting backstabbers in the Republican Party.

Boehner, Ryan and a whole lot of RINO Senators did not side with the demands for change. Do you really think they'll be less disgusting if they gain control of the US Senate? Hint...GWB had both houses for awhile. He increased the invasion of the US, expanded Medicare to Part D, did his global recreational warmongering thing for the elite and was okay with No Child Left Behind.

Ted Cruz has the ability to articulate our side and had a plan. It's backstabbers in his supposedly own party that let us down. So why should we wait? Let them figure out something now. If they can't, maybe they should defer to Ted Cruz and muzzle McCain, Boehner, Ryan and their fellow backstabbers.
