TOP 5 CRACKDOWNS ON CONSERVATIVES' INTERNET FREE SPEECH
Breitbart ^ | April 4, 2014 | By Ben Shapiro

Posted on 04/04/2014 7:48:45 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

On Thursday, CEO Brendan Eich of Mozilla was forced out of his job thanks to his $1,000 donation to the Proposition 8 pro-traditional marriage effort in California in 2008. At that point, he held the exact same position as Barack Obama on traditional marriage. Now, that position has soured in the nostrils of the militant left, which seeks to ruin the lives of those with whom it disagrees.

It’s only too late if you give up your guns.

I just noticed that this thread is in the sidebar, so even better.

And thank you for your response to my post. I’m truly honored to be recognized by someone of your stature here at FR, and someone who’s posts I almost always read.

I actually believe that “progressives” have a penchant for chaos and destruction, and that their increasingly authoritarian tactics are a deliberate strategy to provoke a violent reaction from conservatives, so as to confirm their self-fulfilling belief that conservatives are inherently violent people. So expect them to go further and further and further . . . It is simply amazing how quickly and radically the gay agenda has moved, to the point where people can’t even express opposition to gay marriage without losing their jobs. Expect a question on gay marriage - intended as a litmus test to establish basic decency - to be front-and-center in the 2016 round of presidential debates.

Gee, I don’t own any guns.

I was on my way across our local lake, on my way to register all my guns as required by local law. The nearest place I could register my guns was either around the lake or across the lake ... being the lazy person that I am, I chose to cross the lake.

During my travels across the lake I got stupid and accidentally flipped my boat over ... all my guns ended up on the bottom of the lake. Gee, what now?

Morn my loss and move on.

Well, after your mourning period due to your tragic boating accident is over, you could get a New York Approved AR15...

It's not as scary looking so libs in any state will be in ecstasy...

It doesn't say if it will float though. ;-)

WE operate our own servers instead of running on google cloud or depend on advertisers for our operating revenue... or file with the IRS for 501c non-profit status, etc....

Needs to be repeated Onyx...easy to forget the uniqueness of Free Republic....many thanks to Jim and his team for keeping it so.

It’s NEVER too late to fight against tyranny and oppression. Stop with the negativity already. Instead, how about discussing what We the People can DO to fight back.

As long as we have alternatives, it’s not so bad. I just don’t use any of those services. It’s government attacks against conservatives and conservatism that worries me.

Tyranny is indeed here.

The Framers gave us a peaceful means they didn’t have to reclaim lost liberty. It is time to use it.

That’s not a rumor, I’ve had my account suspended for no reason.

I sincerely hope you are dead wrong about that (please don’t take offense at that however)

But consider the posted article and the fact that there seems to be a ‘switchover’ in strategy from the national cadre of ‘friends’ on the socialist left these days.

Time was they would vehemently deny being socialist.

These days they cannot hide the truth any longer and we are seeing a gradual transition (fundamental transformation if you will) of their talking points from denial of their national scheme being socialist to trying to sells it’s inherent evil.

I hear that’s happening a lot these days – ‘cept up in the northern reaches it’s during ice fishing expeditions.

Remember, those 30 clip magazines can’t possibly fit in a small fishing hole unless the box thingy is out of the square hole thingy in the bottom of the gun….
