The problem is, they do not have to cut the checks, just promise they will. After the election blame the Republicans for the lack of funds. Then wait it out. Ain't gonna be any recalls. Ain't gonna be any impeachments. conservatives get the blame and Liberals get reelected and reelected and reelected and reelected until retirement time.

That would just about offset the $1800/yr increase I got in Dec. , no more HSA and the extra 2.5% of AGI to write off as medical expenses
