Biden -- he just makes stuff up.

Can you imagine if Bush had said that?

He would have been pilloried for : #1 saying that FDR talked when the stock market crashed. The stock market crashed in 1929, when President Hoover was president. FDR did not become pres. till March 1933.

#2, he would have been mocked for saying that FDR went on TV. TV broadcasting as we know it did not exist at that time. FDR spoke to the nation by radio.

But, since Biden is a good Democrat, none dare give him the Dan Quayle treatment over that statement.
