CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The Democratic National Convention has been over for 18 months, but it's still fresh in the mind of one company who filed a police report saying it can't find $75,000 worth of equipment. LG Electronics spoke with WBTV and explained why it decided to tell police now.
The DNC ended in September 2012. LG electronics based in New Jersey had hundreds and hundreds of displays for delegates and convention participants.
"A number of the products were sold on site and after the event. But the majority were returned to our warehouse they came back safe and sound," said John I. Taylor, a LG spokesperson.
After the DNC people packed up and left the Time Warner Cable Arena, but LG says somehow 72 of their tvs walked away. Taylor said during a convention it's not unusual to lose an item or two, but this was a lot.

Then they could have contracted for partial refunds on undamaged merchandise returned to them at a LG set up redemption center.
LG TV's are smarter than their executives.

They also stripped Air Force one of anything that wasn’t basically bolted down. . .and even then tore off presidential seals from various bulkheads. . .caused over $70,000 in damages to Air Force One (I had as one of my T-37 students a guy that eventually flew the president and we talked about the damage and such).
