Cities Changing Diabetes, a new partnership programme to fight the urban diabetes challenge has been launched with Mexico City the first major city to sign-up to the programme.
The global diabetes epidemic is an emergency in slow motion, says Lars Rebien Sørensen, CEO, Novo Nordisk, the Danish based healthcare company that is leading the initiative.

How much American tax money is being used?
Solving Mexico’s problems is a job only Scandinavians will do.
The “experts” will tell you that corn is bad for you. And it probably is. But I’d like to see how they’re going to stop Mexicans from eating it.
I believe it’s also a function of an ageing population. Humans simply don’t process sugar as well when we get older.
Sadly, that is the first thought that I had when I read the article.
the money will be..or has taken a rather circuitous route from Washington D.C. to New York city’s UN building...and then on to The Scandahoovians in Mejico City...
