“When is the LA Primary. That’s one of the “biggies” IMO. I want to see Mary Landrieu GONE!”
Apparently, LA has a “jungle primary” on November 4th. And then a runoff if no candidate gets above 50%.
So the two top contenders would then go into a runoff on December 6th.
I know that in Louisiana all Candidates, Pubbies and ‘Rats, are on the same Primary Ballot, but, geesh... I didn’t know it was not until November. But, that makes sense because I remember reading that the run-off is in December. So, it could be December before we know who controls the Senate. If control of the Upper Chamber comes down to the LA Senate race; holy cow.... look for a gazillion dollars to be spent on that race.
