OK, so why don’t they just charge an absurdly high amount for an event that they don’t want to do? This happens all the time in the service industry - if you’re too busy or just don’t want the work, you bid accordingly.
If you charge different prices for the same services according to who your customers are, that is discrimination and would also result in a lawsuit.
