What about the Navy yard shooter who said he thought he was hearing things or the woman in DC who was killed in her car
and said she felt the government was tracking her?
I wouldn’t be at all surprised.
In reaction to this, in the future armed guards will probably not be issued ammunition.
Active Duty ping.
Something wicked is festering in the shadows. New investigation needs to be done, and NOT by the current powers.
“the shooter is no longer active”
Those damn reservists!
Hey. I came close to shooting an officer who ordered me to shoot prisooners. An unlawful order is not an order. Yes, there might be an odd circumstance where one moght be forced to do this, bt this was far from one of those circumstances.
The common denominator? Ft hood is the same as The Twin Towers, the Boston Marathon and ay other terrorist incident.
The DC shooting was the same as Sandy Hook and Columbine
Last week’s was the same as the Colorado movie theater - a guy in the army who was nuts from the get go and held back from promotions and under the care of a psychiatrist giving him psychotropic drugs that we are all supposed to keep pretending don’t have side effects that include murderous thoughts, feelings and tendencies.
You want to point the finger at the military? Lump these nuts in with Hasan who was from the word go a terrorist, you’d be wrong.
You do not know what happened at Lejuene. You want to put that in with Hasan?
You won’t be alone.
Every media pundit except for a couple of lone sane people like Dana Perino did last week, put it out how very dangerous it was to conflate these incidents, and untrue it is to do so.
You are overreacting.
He was discharged. Good grief the hip buzzphrases we have now...
Good question. I was wondering the same thing myself.
5.56mm
Get over your self, Sandy. I was a Fleet Marine for years, and got my sorry ass FAPed to a MCB unit...specifically MCB Camp Foster, Okinawa, Joint Forces Brig. I saw, and dealt with Marines running afoul of MCRs, MCOs, and the UCMJ. I’m not speaking of the prisoners, I’m speaking of the personnel.
The morale is so low in a “co-ed” unit, it is stinking pathetic. And it’s because there is women around. Like I said, I love women...so do a bunch of other male Marines....jealousy, envy, rivalry = zero unit cohesion.
No longer shooting people. Poor choice words within the context.
“Does it seem like these types of incidents are happening way more frequently than in the past?
5.56mm”
By asking you to point out what types of incidents?
Seems normal to me.
The new buzzword amongst military bases stateside is the threat of an “Active Shooter”. It’s the threat of somebody just going around shooting people as an act of terrorism.
It appears any incident involving a firearm is now being described as an ‘active shooting’ incident.
Declaring he is no longer active, simply means the immediate threat has subsided.
The way it’s stated, he might be napping.
BS. The USMC, along with all other branches of service are currently meeting and exceeding enlistment and retention goals. Individuals with disciplinary problems are getting booted out.
This will not be fixed until such time as the DOD boots the women, and homosexuals out.
This isn't ever going to happen so people had better get used to it.
Dirt nap?
Works for me.
**This isn’t ever going to happen so people had better get used to it.**
Get back to us when women that are taking combat roles can actually pass the physical training standards AND do the work required of those roles.
This isn’t ever going to happen so people had better get used to it,
just to quote you again, because it is just as applicable.
