Two Mexican soldiers in camouflage carrying assault rifles held border agents in a tense standoff on US soil, in January, the Los Angeles Times reported.
And the Obama administration did not even lodge a protest with the Mexican government. Nada.
And it was also revealed this wasnt the first incursion of the Mexicans on our soil. It seems there have been a couple of dozen incursions into Southern Arizona since 2010.
The January 26th standoff was reported as a foreign military incursion was withheld from people of the United States until the Times broke the story. The incursion lasted for 35 minutes and could have lasted longer, had not the Border Control agents not drawn their guns and radioed for help. The incursion was confirmed in a letter from US Customs and Border Protection Commissioner R. Gil Kerlikowske. The soldiers misidentified themselves and claimed they were after drug smugglers.

With Barry in the mansion, Kerry at Foggy Bottom and Holder at Justice, how is this a surprise?
Obozo cares more about the borders of Ukraine than he does our own.
Hmmm, I am not in the least bit shocked at Obama's reaction. I would be shocked if he DID protest.
He is "sin cajones."
We used to know how to handle incursion.
Russian troops on Ukrainian soil = full court press
Mexican troops on our own damn soil = silence
Mex Military obviously involved in protecting drug loads.
It was probably hushed up because of the secret Obama/Sinaloa “intel for no busts” backroom deal.
You reach a point that the list of impeachable offenses makes the action not a punishment fitting the crime...
...then I remember all the a$$hats that voted for him and support his policies and everyone else in power he appointed...
I don’t know what the answer is. But more do-nothing republicans sure doesn’t feel very beneficial at this point.
“And the Obama administration did not even lodge a protest with the Mexican government. Nada.”
Issuing a protest on any level would assume that Obama cares about anything besides golf, expensive junkets on the taxpayer’s dime, and destroying the American way of life.
Clearly, he doesn’t.
Well, technically to be a foreign military invasion there has to be some kind of actual government in charge giving orders and such. Not like that in Mexico. This is an incursion by troops under the direct command of a private cartel. That they are also conscripted into the Mexican Army is an interesting but otherwise useless factoid. :-)
It was two of ‘em,,, on foot, walking parallel to the fence on the road, at 9am. Out there it’s like any barb wire fence in a pasture. Everyone knows that’s the border. My guess is that they decided it’d be easier to hop the fence and walk the road, rather than cut sign in their own side. Embarrassing, but they got caught.
Anyway,,,Those Mexican Army boys sure did right by me one time. Young professional looking Lieutenant. I hope he and his men have fared this drug war intact. That’s all I’ll say.
Just a few years ago, some Mexican army troops drove across a Rio Grande bridge and claimed they didn’t know they’d crossed the border. Nothing was done then, either. Just an act of love, folks, just an act of loooooove!

Active Duty ping.
Nothing, except 140 million new welfare recipients.
Sorry, I paint with a broad brush...
This, and looking at the overall picture as we’ve progressed in the gathering of news, and revelations regarding these apparent criminals involved in the “leadership” of our country makes me wonder just how involved in the drug(s) “industry” the party of the first part is.
Financing a takeover of the World costs some bucks.
It will be a big concern when terrorists or Narco terrorists disguised as Mexican troopers cross the boarder and commit an atrocity.
ME? The louder they call for total amnesty, the more I think (sarcastically) that we should invade Mexico to fix it.
“We thought they were here to pour and finish a new concrete driveway for the vehicle shed,” explained the BP HQ CO.
He proably had a scheduled 'fund raiser', and had to rest up
A military incrusion , by armed Mexican Federals on United States soverign land , against U.S. Boder Patrol ?
and no U.S. response ?
color me surprized ... NOT !!
I wondered if the Russians might return the favor of poking around in our backyard. Probably the standard drug territory crap though.
MEMO TO JEB BUSH: Instead of getting that degree in Latin American affairs, you might have been wise to get a degree in AMERICAN HISTORY! Since you're obviously so fond of Latin America, perhaps there's an elective office waiting for you somewhere in Latin America? Oh wait, THEY have very rigid CITIZENSHIP and RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS down there.
WASHINGTON ON IMMIGRATION "The policy or advantage of immigration taking place in a body (I mean the settling of them in a body) may be much questioned; for, by so doing, they retain the language, habits, and principles (good or bad) which they bring with them. Whereas by an intermixture with our people, they, or their descendants, get assimilated to our customs, measures, laws; in a word, soon become one people." George Washington in a letter to John Adams
JEFFERSON ON IMMIGRATION "Every species of government has its specific principles. Ours perhaps are more peculiar than those of any other in the universe. It is a composition of the freest principles of the English constitution, with others derived from natural right and natural reason. To these nothing can be more opposed than the maxims of absolute monarchies. Yet, from such, we are to expect the greatest number of emigrants. They will bring with them the principles of the governments they leave, imbibed in their early youth; or, if able to throw them off, it will be in exchange for an unbounded licentiousness, passing, as is usual, from one extreme to another. It would be a miracle were they to stop precisely at the point of temperate liberty. These principles, with their language, they will transmit to their children. In proportion to their numbers, they will share with us the legislation. They will infuse into it their spirit, warp and bias its direction, and render it a heterogeneous, incoherent, distracted mass." That xenophobic radical, Thomas Jefferson
Mr. Jefferson's concerns go right to the heart of the questions of uncontrolled immigration and, in Obozo's case, natural born citizenship, don't they?
Jeb’s firends just showing their love.
No surprise at all. What's worse, if the border patrol agent had been killed, the Obungler administration would force his family to pay for the ammunition used to kill him.
For awhile they were telling our border guards to retreat from incursions. Its beyond belief. But what isn’t at this point?
Where is the shocking part of this report?
For the shoe to be on the other foot, Russia would need to be respectful of borders and be opposed to the Mexicans.
The Mexicans are inspired by Putin.
Most of them are not just confused dupes. They’re in love with Putin the way the old left used to be with Castro.
The undocumented Indonesian Obama and the hated,
treasonous EXEMPT WANT the borders open so that
Americans will die. It really is that simple.
Obozo cares more about the borders of Ukraine than he does our own.
I’m sure, like Putin in Crimea, the Mexican army was simply concerned about the safety of the ethnic Mexicans and that this was a completely legal and sensible act. Those areas were at one time Mexico, after all. /channeling FR’s Putin fans
Maybe there were trying to find another entry into the US after their two underground tunnels were discovered and closed in San Diego, CA.
