Let’s love Mexico to death. Let’s invade it and fix their economic, political and criminal woes so that these poor people, these poor loving people no longer have to suffer.
Of the scores of Mexicans I've known over the years, I've noticed the most ambitious and entrepreneurial of the bunch, hail, almost without exception from the northern part, particularly around Monterrey. They feel exploited by the thugocracts and kleptocrats in Mexico City and the more populated regions of the country, much like the Southern, Great Plains and Rocky Mountain States feel exploited by the left coast and northeast in the U.S.A.
An independent Northern Mexico would be much like Chile in a generation or two and very near to where we are in two or three generations. As a side benefit, they would create so many jobs, that many of our own illegals would flock south to take them.
