Today, Brandeis University announced that it was reversing its decision to award an honorary degree to Ayaan Hirsi Ali, following complaints from faculty, an online petition, and pressure from the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which represents nobody but is flush with Saudi cash. The biases of the academy are well known: Robert Spencer is in no danger of getting an honorary degree any time soon, nor Douglas Murray. Nevertheless, in this instance, Brandeis University is stiffing someone who's black, feminist and from Somalia. Which makes their decision the most explicit recognition yet that, in the hierarchy of identity-group politics, Islam trumps everything, including race and gender.
Brandeis said they had changed their mind about Ms Hirsi Ali's degree because "we cannot overlook certain of her past statements that are inconsistent with Brandeis University's core values". Presumably, Tony Kushner's statement that the state of Israel shouldn't exist is entirely consistent with Brandeis University's core values, because no one bothered rescinding his honorary degree.

Van Gogh was murdered by Mohammed Bouyeri as he was cycling to work on 2 November 2004 at about 9 o'clock in the morning, in front of the Amsterdam East borough office (stadsdeelkantoor), on the corner of the Linnaeusstraat and Tweede Oosterparkstraat (52°21′32.22″N 4°55′34.74″E).[3] The killer shot van Gogh eight times with an HS2000 handgun. Initially from his bicycle, Bouyeri fired several bullets at Van Gogh, who was hit, as were two bystanders. Wounded, Van Gogh ran to the other side of the road and fell to the ground on the cycle lane. According to eyewitnesses, Van Gogh's last words were: "Mercy, mercy! We can talk about it, can't we?"[4] Bouyeri then walked up to Van Gogh, who was still lying down, and calmly shot him several more times at close range.[5][6] Bouyeri then cut Van Gogh’s throat, and tried to decapitate him with a large knife, after which he stabbed the knife deep into Van Gogh's chest, reaching his spinal cord. He then attached a note to the body with a smaller knife. Van Gogh died on the spot.[7] The two knives were left implanted. The note was addressed and contained a death threat to Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who was subsequently forced to go into hiding, threatened Western countries and Jews and also referred to the ideologies of the Egyptian organization Takfir wal-Hijra.[8][9]
I wonder if Brandeis will make public the names of faculty members who protested the honorary degree.
She should turn down any other attempts by Sharia loving higher learners.
What’s so funny about this sort of thing is the nancy boys and dykes will be the first ones executed under full-blown sharia. They’re apparently too stupid to realize that their voluntary dhimmitude won’t suffice.

The horrific, only-days-ago murder of Coptic Christian Mary Sameh George, in a suburb of Cairo, can honestly be laid at the feet of shameful Muslim Brotherhood booster President Barack Hussein Obama.
Rioting Muslim Brotherhood supporters attacked the Virgin Mary and Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church, opening fire on it and setting parked cars aflame on March 28. Four innocents died in the attack.A true evil that should be shouted from rooftops, it went down with neither whisper nor whimper in the nothing-to-lose Mainstream Media of the Free West, with only the courageous, American columnist/author Raymond Ibrahim calling attention to it.
Parked by the church, where she was delivering medicine to an elderly, sick woman, Mary Sameh George was savagely mauled and molested before being murdered—all because a cross hanging on her rear view mirror easily identified her as a Christian.
Nightmarish in impact, the eyewitness details of Mary’s death on the Egyptian program 90 Minutes, is not for the fainthearted:
“Once they saw that she was a Christian [because of the cross hanging on her rear view mirror], they jumped on top of the car, to the point that the vehicle was no longer visible. The roof of the car collapsed in. When they realized that she was starting to die, they pulled her out of the car and started pounding on her and pulling her hair—to the point that portions of her hair and scalp came off. They kept beating her, kicking her, stabbing her with any object or weapon they could find…
Throughout [her ordeal] she tried to protect her face, giving her back to the attackers, till one of them came and stabbed her right in the back, near the heart, finishing her off. Then another came and grabbed her by the hair, shaking her head, and with the other hand slit her throat. “The eyewitness, as well as many others who have since appeared on videos, complained about Egyptian State Security and how it did not intervene—just like under Morsi, when St. Mark Cathedral was besieged, even as security stood by—how it knows exactly who the murderers are, and how one of Mary’s murderers, whom “everyone reported to Security,” was simply relaxing in his home, not even hiding.
“Added the eyewitness: “Let me tell you, here in Ain Shams, we [Christians] know that every Friday is a day of death; that the day after Friday, Saturday, we’ll be carried to the morgue!”
“In fact, the overwhelming majority of attacks on Egypt’s Christians occur on Friday—the day when pious Muslims meet in mosque for prayers and to hear sermons,” Ibrahim continued.
“The significance of this fact can only be understood by analogy: what if Christians were especially violent to non-Christian minorities on Sunday—right after they got out of church? What would that say about what goes on in Christian churches?
“What does it say about what goes on in Muslim mosques?” Obama, an unabashed supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, got away with blaming an obscure YouTube and a riot for the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens in Benghazi, Libya.
A video of Mary’s family members, with one woman calling out Obama for what he truly is, is real and should send chills down the spines of each and every Obama supporter:
“A message to [U.S. President Barack] Obama, who is calling for the Brotherhood to return to power again. I want to tell him, have mercy, enough is enough! His brother is in the al-Qaeda organization! Why do you want to destroy Egypt?…Egypt will remain whether you, the Brotherhood, or anyone else likes it or not!”
Notes Ibrahim: “She was referring to something that is as well known in Egypt as it is little known in the United States: that the Obama administration is a sponsor of the Muslim Brotherhood, which itself is connected to al-Qaeda.”

Everything takes a back seat to islam. Blacks, atheists, and feminists are all applauding the schools decision, and they all consider her an islamophobic pig. And blacks, atheists, and feminists loathe her.
