The extreme right and extreme left share a desire for America to become a weak and not an influential country. Some of them rant about America being the cause of all that's wrong at home and abroad. They're essentially anti-American, but they've not all thought their tendencies through to their logical conclusion.

If you like Putin, you should be happy with Obama. They're both trying to weaken America and turn it into a third rate power.
