Democrats have clung to the claim that women earn 77% of what men do with religious fervor, as evidenced by the "religious revival, Praise Jesus" atmosphere at President Obama's equal pay event at the White House earlier this week.
But although the 77% figure has been thoroughly debunked, on today's Morning Joe Mika Brzezinski alleged that the real gap is actually "far worse." Mika made her claim without benefit of any actual statistics.

“Equal effort” is a red herring, drawn across the path of anybody trying to get to the bottom of the mystery of how it is that men seem to wind up with larger paychecks than women.
The fact is, anybody gets just about as much money in exchange for the time and effort put in on the job as the rest of society is willing to give that person. Rock stars and sports figures get lots of money because, well, poor people give rich people money. In some dimly perceived way, the very act of elevating another to an exalted status somehow elevates even the lowest to think, “Hey, maybe I has a little something to do with that.”
Applauding with cash is a time-honored method of showing that approval and personal affection for another, and defining that trigger by which a greater or lesser amount of reward is showered upon an individual is as elusive as trying to prove any article of faith or personal belief. The impulse would seem incoherent or totally irrational to anyone else.
In many instances, the female employee is paid for being what she is, just for being pretty. Ugly or uninteresting women get paid less than smart, stylish women.
Look it up.
What the hell does she know? She’s never had a real job in her life.
She knows how to read what she’s told to read. She needs no other level of intellect than that of a robotic media whore.
When Mika and all the Democrat women start being honest about the treatment of women by Muslims all over the world they might get a little credibilty. For now, just hypocrites.
The only gap she’s right about is the one between her ears!

These people are ridiculous (and dangerous); we should simply start referring to Obama as Barack Hitler until they knock off the baseless nonsense. In fact, I intend to do just that - and I’ll be dismissive of anyone who sees it as the absurdity it is. Just keep plugging along, and I might convinve one out of every ten people that Obama IS just like Hitler...
Who would pay 23% more for an equivalent product?
Now... since it would be exceedingly rare for this to happen...
