Springfield gets ugly
Chicago Tribune ^ | April 10, 2014

State Rep. Linda Chapa LaVia, a Democrat from Aurora, took to the House floor Wednesday afternoon to defend a bill that would curtail the growth of charter schools in Illinois. She was at times sarcastic, at times defensive. She regularly interrupted House members who asked challenging questions about the bill.

No surprise there. The debate in Springfield can be sharp. Chapa LaVia is not shy.

But as she railed against charter schools — she claimed they're becoming segregated "between the haves and the have nots" — she turned to her fellow Democrats, waved her arms and said: "Listen to me, minorities. I'm over here because we're all over on this side of the aisle, right?"

No one must escape the system of authoritarian conditioning. Charter schools are a danger to the collectivist ideal. Of course the looters oppose them.

That's exactly why they are so against them. They make 'haves' out of 'have nots'.......................

Kinda funny how she doesn’t even try:

“Hey, black people. You are supposed to support this. It’s time to earn the money we give you. If this is confusing to you, ask for help”.

Her children go to a private school.

Sadly, the Republicans—especially in Illinois—aren’t much different than the Democrats. Consider Senator Mark Kirk for example. There’s not a great deal of difference between someone like Kirk and a Democrat. I don’t call Illinois the Great Communist State of Illinois for nothing.
