Employee compensation has never been a lower percentage of profits as it is in the US today. Corporations are sitting on over 1 trillion dollars cash. Those who are employed have never worked harder. Those statistics from CBS news this morning.

Instead of raising wages, what does corporate America want? Lower taxes (which we supported them on) and to continue the invasion of the US with cheap labor and to import crap from third world cesspools and use the savings to raise profits.

Why should average US citizens support the Chamber of Commerce and globalists on this one? I'm all for a higher minimum wage and laws that US citizens must be hired when they're qualified and competent employees. Perhaps all that is needed is laws that stop the invasion of the US and no more permission for unnecessary foreign labor. Add to that tariffs on goods from companies where workers are treated like slaves.

If something isn't done, the US is near the breaking point.
