My boss is retiring and they told us today that the new Payroll Manager has been hired. Finally some time to train with the old and new together (instead of passing on the way out)...hopefully for a couple weeks. It is so strange to have the bosses boss care about our department. He said he told the new lady that we were a well functioning unit and not to mess it up. Time will tell.
How nice that y'all are appreciated! People who do a good job frequently aren't noticed because they make it look easy.
