Except for likely Germany and Poland, the rest of Nato’s European partner’s military, including the UK, is just a shell now.
The Italians could only do 40-some total sorties over Libya before they had to stand down, due to the lack of bombs, and broken airplanes. The Russians know this, too.
What a sad spectacle that Europe has become. In time I believe that, (as I’ve stated before) they could become a counter-balance to Russia -— if they were willing to defund the massive social-welfare net and contribute more to their militaries, both individually and collectively...
They could be the cooler head that sometimes needs to previal (as compared to the often hot-headed U.S.) given their penchant for muddling through things. Ah, one can only hope...

If you believe that many in Crimea took the Russian offer to join their army, the Russian disinformation officers did a good job. That was not the case. The Ukrainian ships are being returned. Did you read about the Ukrainian naval officer that was murdered in his barracks?
