This is Europe’s problem.
It is about time that they grow a spine and deal with this themselves.
They could shift resources, and, collectively, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, UK, Belgium, Dennmark, Finalnd, Norway, Sweden, etc, could have their own collective military apart from NATO (like the U.S. has) and it would be more than a match for Russia’s, as -collectively - Western Europe’s GDP, eceonomies and population is greater than Russia’s.
“This is Europes problem. It is about time that they grow a spine and deal with this themselves.”
Except for likely Germany and Poland, the rest of Nato’s European partner’s military, including the UK, is just a shell now.
The Italians could only do 40-some total sorties over Libya before they had to stand down, due to the lack of bombs, and broken airplanes. The Russians know this, too.
