A loaded 380. caliber firearm with a round chambered was discovered in the rear pocket of a San Antonio (SAT) passenger during Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) screening.
A 380. caliber firearm loaded with five rounds was discovered after a passenger walked through a metal detector at Dallas – Ft. Worth (DFW).

51 Firearms Discovered This Week – Of the 51 firearms, 45 were loaded and 20 had rounds chambered. See a complete list and more photos at the bottom of this post.

I wonder if the people caught had been previously successful in getting their firearms through security.

Maybe they didn’t want to have the firearms stolen by baggage handlers so they held on to them ...

I'm inclined to think a good many of these caught carrying were agents testing the alertness of TSA. Wonder what the statistics are on prosecutions of the offenders.

I am sure just about all these people were ignorant and dumb. But after spending a few thousands on lawyers it will be the last time they act stupid at the airport

This is total BS. It’s F***ing governmement disinformation used to justify more TSA and armed TSA.
These guys need to go straight to hell for doing this stunt. The Federal government can never be believed.

Another thing, they’re not officers, they’re agents. But they want you to think that they are Federal Gestapo police.
I feel so safe now.

Did they catch any terrorists? Or was it just law abiding people who forgot about their firearm.

I can imagine the agent testing the TSA going —— “Psssst ...the loaded gun is in my right suit pocket you moron!”

What morons. If the round is not chambered, it is NOT loaded.

How many of these passengers were government employees? And how many were private citizens?

I’m going to guess that the answer to the second question is maybe one or two. Most private citizens can’t afford to have their weapons confiscated by the TSA and take particular care not to put them in their hands.

Beat me to it. Good call. Wasn’t the ATFnE up for funding
evaluation when they pulled off Waco with all the media
in tow. They do, do things like this. They do lie.

“A loaded 380. caliber firearm with a round chambered was discovered in the rear pocket of a San Antonio (SAT) passenger during Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) screening.”

I would be more surprised if a San Antonio passenger didn’t have a loaded .380.

And how many of these armed passengers were a threat to the aircraft?

If some of the passengers on the hijacked planes were armed on the morning of September 11, 2001, two one hundred and ten story skyscrapers might still be standing today, and 3,000 people who died that day might still be with us.

Every police office and military officer should feel insulted when TSA agents are called “officers” by our corrupt government.

When I was with that agency we had a women with 3 kids and a elderly mother with a walker try and bring a revolver through security, I think it was a .38. It was concealed in a baggie in the diaper wipes container.

The women was lucky. The cops wanted to arrest her but CPS was loaded that night so no place for the kids and the grandma seemed to have borderline dementia and no facility to take her was available.

They settled for taking the gun and citing her with an order to appear at a future date.

I was standing next to the police podium several weeks later when the same women came through but this time she approached from the direction of arriving flights. She demanded the cop give her gun back. He basically told her to GTFO and get a lawyer and after 10-15K in legal fees she may get her $500 gun back. She stomped off in a huff.

LOL the nerve of some people.
