The weapons used by the unidentified pro-Russian forces are highly unusual. The reason being owning anything other than a shotgun in Ukraine is virtually impossible. Even the shotgun or a .22 requires paperwork and bribes most Ukrainians cannot justify or afford.

So where did the pro-Russians get weapons? The answer to that should be obvious. BTW, RT is a direct disinformation feed from the Kremlin.

It is possible - wars in Moldova, Transnistria, Georgia, Abkhazia - plus overvelming corruption in Ukraine military - and crown of it all - Maidan extremists lost control over police and army - Army dissolved, Russian and Ukrainian officers and staff that are against junta in Kiev are deserting.
So, all kinds of weapons are there. Also, number of police and special forces are deserting to the rebels in east.

One of the first actions taken by the anti-fascist dissidents in Eastern Ukraine was the takeover of local police stations and subsequent distribution of the weapons stored there.

This information and the puppet regime's reaction to it was duly reported by (among others) the same media outlets you claim are disseminating false information.

Go figure.
