In my Catholic school the moral conflicts found in literature were analyzed through the prism of our religious beliefs.
Well good for you. To me, that would seem a lot a lot like
tearing a story up and trying to fit it into your ideology piecemeal.
There was no hesitation to bring into the discussion our scriptures and the writing of our church leaders.
So you were told what to think rather than encouraged to form ideas.

While in favor of God's glory, I'd ask if the mathematical solutions were any different with or without it.
It is IMPOSSIBLE for any government school to be religiously, culturally, or politically neutral.
