It gets worse. Apparently the guy had the whole house wired and the killings are caught on audio. From another report, "According to an audio recording of the incident, the man, Byron David Smith, shot the teenage girl, Haile Kifer, in the chest and then taunted the 18-year-old, telling her she was dying in the final moments of her life, before repeatedly shot her until she died." source

It doesn’t look good for this gut. From what I’m reading, his actions are looking a lot like murder. But I have ZERO sympathy for the two punks. They broke into someone’s home - they deserved to die - I don’t shed one tear for either of them, even if she was taunted; but once an invader is incapacitated you just can’t go kill them. That is illegal on the battlefield for goodness sake!

The taunting, however, does speak to the mindset of the man - it will probably convict him to life in prison.
