Sebelius' Shameful Legacy
Breitbart ^ | 14 Apr 2014 | DEBRA HEINE

Outgoing HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will be remembered by most for the insanely botched roll-out of ObamaCare, but her most shameful legacy to those of us who remember it, will always be her disgraceful tenure as Governor of Kansas because of her unwavering support for illegal late term abortions, and her role in vilifying the attorney general who was trying to put a stop to them.

Infamous late term abortionist, Dr. George Tiller, who practiced his shady, sordid business in Wichita, was able to game the system through strategic donations to Democrat politicians, most particularly, Kathleen Sebelius.

She was not well liked anywhere west of Topeka. She was a legacy with lots of connections and money. And here in Kansas, people will vote for someone because of gender or race. I’m sort of surprised Obama didn’t carry the state but we’re not quite that blind.

I think of her as the White Witch from the Narnia stories.

When they stay local, some Dems can have some success in Kansas. I think it’s because they’re able to hide who they really are. At the national level, it’s a different story. We haven’t voted for a Dem for president since 1964. It’s probably been longer since we’ve sent a Dem to the Senate.

She’s the spawn of former idiot Gov. Gilligan from my home state of Ohio. A real Chelsea Clinton second generation liberal.

I hope Sebelius will somehow find God, but from what I've seen today, she's just about as far from that goal as anyone in history. Trampling freedom of religion and attempting to compel people to pay for abortion is just about as revolting and evil as it gets. All she has to do is ask God into her life, but I think she looks in a different direction, the same direction as another personification of evil in the news.

re: “and the most disturbing aspect of the sordid tale is the fact that she was chosen by Obama to be his HHS Sec. not despite this shameful legacy - but because of it.”

Obama knew he had a woman who would do anything utterly reprehensible that he requested. An American Eichmann or Goebbels. She had a perfect record as far as he was concerned.

I can't keep up with Democrat monstrosities - so I'll have to check this wench's bona fides.

The Kansas City Star (rag) and Topeka's rag were relentless on her behalf. It would be harder to pull off a propaganda coup like that today, because conservative bloggers have more coverage, but Phil Kline's reputation was pretty much destroyed, and I think the Kansas Dems are still hounding him. This all happened while the country was still leaning “pro-Choice,” too. Sebelius and her AG were never prosecuted for having destroyed the evidence of illegal abortions by Tiller and other Kansas abortionists. Most Kansans today probably have no idea of the things she and her allies did on behalf of abortion.

I suspect that she won’t be retiring to Kansas. Kinda like the Clintons avoid Arkansas.

This is a very good article, but it doesn’t describe completely what happened to Kline.

Kline...the guy who tried to enforce the law and prevent healthy babies from being killed. What did he get for his efforts?

The Kansas Supreme Court suspended his law license indefinitely.

While I would love to take credit, that was someone far more talented and creative. The picture was shamelessly stolen from: someone who signs his work "BIGFURHAT," no doubt to avoid automatic audits, and it was posted at iowntheworld.com back in 2009
