The simple fact is that the American people will not support a war that sheds American blood and risks a nuclear disaster to define the borders of the Ukraine. Nor will the Germans send their troops into the Ukraine, fight Russians or impose serious sanctions that hurt the EU. Putin knows this better than anybody. Obama can whine, rant and complain and the MSM can portray him as Winston Churchill but Putin holds the trump cards.

The Obama administration created this mess, and handed Putin an opportunity that he couldn’t pass up, on a silver platter.

Now that the strategy is unraveling, President Mom Jeans is getting more shrill, and is trying to prove to Putin how big his schlong is. Against a guy that embodies the “Russian Male”, be it propaganda or not.

The DC watchers in the Kremlin have just got to be shaking their heads in amazement at all of this.
