Much the same today with the current Democrat party.
Imagine, if you will, Africans being slaughtered when a Republican is in the White House (think Somalia during Bush 41 or Sudan during Bush 43). Hollywood and the Democrat party are TERRIBLY UPSET by the horrors happening in Africa then.
But today, Christians in Nigeria are being murdered by Muslims....and silence from the left. Back in 1994, Rwandans were slaughtered...but little or no criticism of Bill and Hillary, his "co-President".

IMHO, it wasn't in the US's backyard/national interest, and it would have been a logistical nightmare, not to mention a complete and expensive waste of US lives, especially with Clintonista ROEs, with no defined goals to eradicate the sources of the problems.
My point, if you read my comment, isn’t necessarily that we should or should not be involved....that is a different debate.
My point is how crises in Africa are addressed.

Wrong. The problem in this situation was not that we minded our own business, it's that we didn't.
Almost all of these people were killed with machetes, knives and stones.
Belgium had armed peace keeping soldiers on site, and willing to put the uprising down. But Clinton, who did not want talk of genocide affecting the US congressional elections, ordered Maddie Albright to block all efforts by the UN to recognize the situation in Rwanda as such and authorize action.
His efforts specifically prevented the willing Belgian soldiers from stopping or minimizing the slaughter.
I remember seeing a river filled with body parts bank to bank, blood red water.

You want slaughter? Wait till obama decided to keep his position in 2017. We have our own freedom to defend. And on a day to day basis under the regime. And watch out for the Bundys in Nevada. That could be a slaughter.
I feel for the Africans who were hacked. If my family goes down it will go down armed and fighting.
