Trey Gowdy Believes Barack Obama Is Systematically Dismantling Our Nation’s Laws
Independent Sentinel ^ | April 14, 2014 | Sara Noble

Posted on 04/15/2014 12:22:14 PM PDT by george76

Earlier this week, Sen. Jeff Sessions said that the president was deliberately dismantling our law enforcement system. Megyn Kelly of Fox News asked Rep. Gowdy about that.

Rep. Trey Gowdy, a former prosecutor, agrees with Sen. Sessions that the president is systematically dismantling the nation’s laws, but he believes it is to win elections not to pursue an agenda. They [the administration] do however fundamentally view their role differently, he added.

Attorney General Eric Holder recently claimed that illegal immigration is a civil right, if that is so, Gowdy says, that is like saying you and I have the right to vote in Madagascar.

Gowdy believes President Obama is dismantling our laws, not for anarchy, but for electoral success. The administration is motivated by the fact that they get away with it.

“What about the drug laws. He’s [Eric Holder] trumping congressional statute with a memo,”

...

Over 99% of the people here illegally did not face removal last year.

Deportation rates are close to zero. That’s the truth, he affirmed.

Sen. Sessions said that our law enforcement system is in a state of collapse. It’s a deliberate plan by the President of the United States. It’s wrong. People need to stand up to it. Americans need to be aware of it and I think the American people are beginning to do so.

I agree with Jeff and Trey but I also think its to create chaos so he can touch off CWII and hopefully declare Martial Law.

This thing in Nevada is a test operation to see if they can send in the civilian national defense force (BLM and hired Mercs) along with a militarized local police force (not a duly elected county sheriff) and impose their will on someone.

I love Jeff Sessions and Trey Gowdy but I think they are going to be very surprised when the spark ignites and this whole thing goes viral.

Why do you think Sessions or Gowdy are not seeing what is happening in Nevada? What did they say that made you think that? Thanks. R2z

I am glad you like your Rep Gowdy. I am impressed by his righteous indignation, but Rome really is burning and we shouldn’t be talking about anything else except how to stop Nero and the Gang, AND THEN DO IT. My Rep is the infamous Justin Amash, who doesn’t bring home the bacon, and doesn’t vote for anything he believes is unconstitutional. But, he isn’t doing anything either to stop this Train from going over the cliff. I don’t need any more politicians, even ones I like (which Gowdy is one) telling me that there is a big problem out there and no apparent strategy to deal with it. Am I missing something that addresses the Action Plan?

I believe Obama and his cronies are trying to create anarchy so they can declare martial law and take over. I think Jeff Sessions and Trey Gowdy are not quite there yet.

I sure wish Sylvia Browne was still alive to tell us how all of this will end for Obama & Holder.

Not sure if you have or not. What is the "Action Plan" you would like me to pass along to Rep. Gowdy? He already has been made well-aware that many in his district (and across the Nation) are disgruntled citizens because of continued Congressional inaction.

(It is our hope here that Gowdy, while representing us in District 4, is doing the political things that are necessary to get him to the Speakership one year in the future. We have high hopes, eh?)

“but I also think its to create chaos so he can touch off CWII and hopefully declare Martial Law.”

You are exactly right.

During Bill Clinton’s impeachment, Hillary had a plan referred to as the “Scorched Earth Policy”.

The premise is from Bill Ayers book “Prairie Fire”.

Find an incident, a spark to ignite the flame, ratchet it up to a raging inferno.

That was a plan to find or orchestrate another R King type incident, call for and release the content of FBI files on police abuse and corruption, orchestrate massive race riots in every city, collapse the legal system and overthrow the govt.

In 2009 there was another attempt to do the same thing with the Gates and racial profiling by police BS.

The CBC immediately called for a review of complaints filed against police with the FBI.

That attempt was derailed by Rush when he very carefully let it be known Hillary was behind it and not Obama.

Hillary came back on Rush and he lost his NFL team.

The jug eared clown isn’t smart enough to scratch his butt without help, he isn’t doing this, this is from Hillary and her minions.

I disagree... there ain’t nothing “systematic” about it. Obama is basically engaged in flouting all laws he doesn’t like. I’d hate to play golf against this guy, and I’d never let him call his own fouls in a game of one-on-one.

I would love to see Trey Gowdy as Speaker of the House. It’ll take a bloodbath to get him there, but well worth it. Any time we stop believing that the Power of One doesn’t exist, we are in big trouble.

How can elections not be the agenda? Once they have placed the commies in congress in huge majorities the agenda is complete.

Now you will probably launch into the widely-publicized mischaracterizations of Gowdy's position statements regarding amnesty;

Unlike your own mischaracterizations. If he wants off my list he better quit crying with Gutierrez.

Please spur your U.S. Representative into doing as much as Trey Gowdy has so far

OK, what legislation has he introduced or passed to address any of the issues he complains about on TV? He makes good points in some of the hearings and TV soundbites but no legislation.

I remember another firebrand House member that made great points even prosecuted President Clinton's impeachment, do you remember his name? He/she is now a Senator, beloved by freepers.

If illegal immigration is a civil right, then why have passports? Can we now shut down the passport offices and save some money?

Michael Cannon in a House Judiciary committee hearing said:

“That is certainly something that no one wants to contemplate. If the people come to believe that the government is no longer constrained by the laws, then they will conclude that neither are they.”

Cannon said it is “very dangerous” for the president to “wantonly ignore the laws, to try to impose obligations upon people that the legislature did not approve.”

Yep; you're right. He sure had me thinking he was a true conservative. But I knew better before the stain was fully dry on Monica's dress, so to speak. I can see why you have reason to be leery of all politicians, including U.S. Representatives.

Maybe we won't re-elect Gowdy next time, if he runs.
