The man linked to the current Russian covert military operations in the Ukraine is a senior ranking general officer and former and/or current Deputy Director of the FSB intelligence operations responsible. It is alleged by a former FSB officer that Borodai is linked to the alleged FSB role in the terrorist gas bombings in Russia used by Putin to justify the resumed war upon Chechnya and destruction of the City of Grozny. He has subsequently been named as the FSB official responsible for handling similar covert military operations by Russia against a number of other former Soviet republics.
