Barack Obama may be the Republicans' best friend when it comes to educating 18-33-year olds of the Millennial Generation about the downside of voting for the Democrats’ economic policies.

According to a report from the Pew Research Center for Social and Demographic Trends, the 73.7 million Millennials are “unattached to organized politics and religion, linked by social media, burdened by debt, distrustful of people, in no rush to marry— and optimistic about the future.”

This growing rejection of the Democrat Party will undoubtedly have consequences in the coming mid-term and presidential elections.

I am posting this hoping it doesn’t take hours to show up like last time (guess I should post more often for those privs).

Anyways-—

Rand Paul is NOT anything like Mitt Romney. Before Rand Paul was my Senator I had a chance to meet him and have followed his career pretty closely in the past few years. Not only has he received and revived our youth vote (I have seen this personally in family and friends), he also is a true Tea Party Patriot.

Like our Founding Fathers, they couldn’t even agree with themselves about 100% of the issues. Neither will anyone else EVER find a person anywhere to agree 100% with themselves.

We must understand the most important thing is what our Founding Fathers found out — the most important issues, the only true ones, even worth FIGHTING AND DYING FOR -— is freedom from Government Tyranny and the Freedom to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness and restoring our Founding principles.

If we have any hopes in restoring this Country we need to work together to concentrate on getting someone to restore us back to these principles of our Constitution. Fighting amongst ourselves about particular side items that won’t mean a hill of beans if we lose is cutting our nose off to spite our face.

For the records - Keeping the Government out of personal and private Choices IS a Founding Principle. Personal/Religious concerns will always be something people will be divided about. That is why our wise Founders saw to it to RECOGNIZE the FREEDOM OF RELIGION.

We can save others from themselves by being good examples and spreading your good examples. But we can’t even do that if allow the ‘progressive’ SOBs to divide and conquer us. What they are doing to our Country is far too destructive to us throw up our hands over this.

Don’t get me wrong, I am only talking about allowing true Freedom of THE PEOPLE — not murdering THE PEOPLE. It is certainly good to see the young people now turning against abortion by realizing these are real children who have the same (God given) Constitutionally recognized rights to LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT of Happiness.

The ‘Government Marriage’ laws can be debated - but who someone marries is the least of our worries if we lose America. Do you think the Bundy’s in Nevada should turn away anybody who is gay who showed up to help them defend their freedom? Semper Fi

As Paul continues to campaign for president, we are finding that he shares quite a bit with Romney, for instance calling for an end to conservatism by joining the left in embracing social liberalism.

Social conservatism is the very foundation of conservatism, you cannot have economic conservatism and limited government, and social liberalism.
The radical and leftist, libertarian social agenda and immigration policy, results only in more liberalism and larger government, and more social programs, it produces liberal voters, not conservative voters.

Rand Paul isn’t running for state Governor, Rand is a Senator voting on federal law, and is running for president, gays in the military, abortion on federal lands, gay marriage in the military and in federal employment and in immigration are not “state” issues, they are issues of bigger and more costly federal government.

Rand has come out stating his surrender on those issues, there is no conservatism without social conservatism.

Yes, he will be working in Federal Government like he is now only in a bigger role.

He will be in a better position to help ensure a return to Constitutional values for our Country. Exactly the platform he always stood on.

While the gay issues are a sore subject for many, it shouldn’t be the one that ensures we never get a chance to get our country back. It is not going to happen overnight.

On moral issues, you must show someone the concerns of why something is wrong and then they will more readily follow.

The old adage of trying to regulate morality has always failed. Right now, you might as well say you won’t elect anyone who wants to outlaw sex outside of marriage. It is a horribly damaging practice and has ruined many people and countries. But demanding the politician you vote with agrees to squash out a particular consensual sex that has been engrained in our nation at this time only makes it harder for us to put Freedom of the People back and get the government away from our micromanaging our every action or non-action.

I can’t help but notice that you left out abortion, while you are pushing the left’s agenda, you should also try to figure out how Rand Paul’s and your support in the fight against America and conservatism, is BIG GOVERNMENT.

The military, federal employment and immigration recognition of gay marriage will waste billions on homosexuality.

All you are doing, is promoting the left’s social liberalism and it’s 50 year war against America and conservatism, whether it is 1970 or 2014, you are merely another part of the left.

In this case, even at the federal level.
