“Rush has been saying for years that at the top the Republicans are ashamed of being pro-life, pro marriage. That the wives of the Republican elite want pro-life gone, but they won’t broadcast that.”

Then why don’t they become Democrat elite instead? I’ve never understood this.

Because they have the money cooked up to come THEIR way. It's competition over taxpayer money.

The Dems have it coming through their contacts, the Repubs through theirs. It's all a club, and we are the patsies. And the MSM is somehow in bed with it all, keeping it going.

It's like BOReilly says, When it really comes down to it, The powerful protect the powerful.

Now on the side the Dems do things for their folks, and the pubs for us, but they have to spin more to their base because they are trying to tell us they are NOT for government spending. And the Dems lie to the general public with the MSM because THEIR base loves them to spend, they just lie about them not lining their pocketbooks with it and not setting us on a road to permanent secular socialism.

And like Rush says, Follow the money. So much of it is all about money. That's why the dewy eyed younglings get to DC, and they fast realize it's a powerful system that draws you in like a black hole. And it's not only practically irresistible, IMHO there would be severe consequences for anyone that ever came out and really DID speak “Truth to Power”.

They don't like paying taxes. That's their first and only issue.
