First politician to publically stand on the side of liberty; that takes some brass ones. Dems and GOPe will likely work even harder to smear him now. I hope Ted joins him, imo they are the only two who are really serious about reducing the scope and power of the federal government, which should be priority one for any presidential candidate.

I wonder how many so-called conservatives on here are going to attack Rand Paul because they are more supportive of military intervention overseas than they are in conservative principles regarding avoidance of foreign entanglements.
