When you talk about child on child accidental shootings like this, the ad is mostly hysterical fiction aimed at ignorant, over-educated, hyper sheltered, white middle and upper middle class women. Fewer kids, especially middle class white kids, under age 10 die in nearly fictitious accidents like this than die by drowning in 5 gallon pails of water. After all, there’s a good reason Bloomie selected middle class white kids for this libel instead of inner city gang banger wannabes, the ones who actually do occasionally get into accidents like this.

If this is the issue, shouldn't they be pushing for a gun safe in every home that has small children? I have a gun safe for firearms that are not under my personal control. Those that are under my personal control, don't need a gun safe.
This is more “liberal bait and switch.” It is an emotional ploy to vilianize firearms and they say let's do things to make these evil things harder to get, rather than addressing real issues.
