About the company
India-based Mahindra dates back to October 1945, when the Mahindra brothers won a contract to assemble Willys Jeeps in India. The company, known as Mahindra & Mohammed, changed its name to Mahindra & Mahindra two years later.
(Guess they had some issues with Mohammed...)
It is surreal hearing an Ad for an Indian (sub-continent) Tractor Company on Rush’s program, you gotta give it to them they really know who to reach for for their customers.
It is a bit surreal but Mahindra does make good stuff.
I wish we sold a 4 or 6 cylinder diesel SUV here.
Royal Enfield motorcycles are made exclusively in India now.
Why? I wish Polaris Industries (Polaris snowmobiles and UTV) or maybe John Deere would advertise on his show.
There are a global company. They just started selling here. Still would buy an auto from them, though.
