45 day prayer Marathon in Donetsk, the peaceful rally took place today Ukrainian Patriots "prayer for Ukraine". There were many calls do not go to this action, because the contemplation of provocation and beatings by the separatists, who were armed, anger control almost all of the major Admin executive agencies. People went to the rally, knowing full well that it might have been expected anything. But still came, there were about 5 thousand people.
We do not get to the beginning of this meeting, as it coincided with the beginning of the beginning of our prayers in Constitution Square, but during prayer, we decided to have it cut and go to support protesters in prayer. Were pleasantly surprised to see that all goes peacefully, there were a lot of police that kept the order.
Among the people we saw a lot of friends, our brothers and sisters, and in the beginning of the meeting the priests and pastors of different churches came to pray.. Rally organizers invited me to go on stage for a little speech and prayer. I really wanted to reach people and draw their attention to God, not knowing how to do it in a minute , I said that, " if Ukraine will kneel before God , then put on her knees someone else" and then I offered my knee praying Incline before God. Those who stood on the stage inclined knees, some people just knelt down, but most remained standing, I think not because of pride, but rather because of the inconvenience density of people, perhaps someone on the restraint. But be that as it may the people prayed, certainly not all , but still praying. But whatever the people were praying, of course, not all, but all the same.
One of the purposes of prayer tents, thousands of people heard, to whom and how to deal in a difficult moment. Distemper in the Donbass is not reduced, this rally was originally a sigh before immersing in water.
I think there is still not one day of confrontation and of spiritual and physical, but now the city heard the voice of the Church in the face of priests and Ministers who spoke and prayed. And I hope the city heard the main message of the church to the people - " humble ourselves before God."
Thanks to all who pray and sacrifice to serve the prayer tent, who come and pray. The visible church, we need more than ever to the Donbas.
