However, the U.S. ambassador to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe said last week that Russia had amassed "tens of thousands" of its own troops near the Ukrainian border.

Russian troops are "again not in their normal peacetime positions or garrisons," ambassador Daniel Baer said, comparing the reported military buildup to the spread of Russia-aligned forces throughout the former Ukrainian region of Crimea.

Ah, a pronouncment from Daniel Baer, the openly homosexual US Ambassador.

We live in interesting times. I dedicated a large part of my life to studying and training to fight these people if they ever attacked Western Europe. Now the old Soviet society has collapsed and what remains of its forces has retreated to Russia. Today it is NATO which is on the march, adding 12 new members since 1998 and now based on the borders of Russia itself. Russia is justifiably alarmed over NATO’s renewed push into the Black Sea — historically a Russian lake and absolutely vital to Russia’s strategic defense. As hard as it is for me to say it, Zhirinovsky is right about our meddling in Kiev.
