Both sides in WW2 had plans to spread radioactivity on the other’s territory with what would have been the world’s largest dirty bombs. Since the American bombs worked and the German’s never got very far, the plans were never invoked. But either side could have killed hundred’s of thousands and rendered millions of acres uninhabitable.
This potential danger is multiplying under our very noses and, apparently, our present regime is doing nothing about it. (Unless freeing up $450 million for Iran’s use is doing “something” about it.)
