The average common sense person, seeing this could be their fate, will rather become a major risk taker and may decide what do they have to lose, if they decide they are not going to ever be arrested by officers, but rather fight to the death at first contact.
For a minor offense, you’re tossed into a major hardcore prison. Corrupt officers will kill you in jail, or criminals there will murder you in jail, nothing will be done. Why on earth would any logical, normal person consider voluntary surrender?

A powerful and completely valid exposè of the caring industry. There is much that is wrong in our society and precious little that is right. Everything above the bottom is rotten to the core, much of the bottom as well. Fixing this mess ain’t gonna be easy.

Really weird. I was thinking of the brazen bull earlier today. Not in this context — actually, I have no idea why it popped into my head. But I found myself thinking about it and then not long afterward, ran across this thread. You just never know.
