Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson is weighing limiting deportations of immigrants living in the U.S. illegally who don't have serious criminal records, according to two people with knowledge of his deliberations.
The change, if adopted following an ongoing review ordered by President Barack Obama, could shield tens of thousands of immigrants now removed each year solely because they committed repeat immigration violations, such as re-entering the country illegally after been deported, failing to comply with a deportation order or missing an immigration court date.
However, it would fall short of the sweeping changes sought by activists. They want Obama to expand a two-year-old program that grants work permits to certain immigrants brought here illegally as children to include other groups, such as the parents of any children born in the U.S.

For those living in the US illegally the Administration is mulling limiting deportations If you don't have a serious criminal record. Any illegal alien allowed to remain in the US is allowed to remain in the US and not deported is instantly enshrined as a life-long Democrat. For that alone I am against any such consideration. But for people like Obama there is a dilemma because as an illegal alien, he does have a very serious criminal record and so would be on the list of those who must be considered for deportation, but that's just aa little game I play with myself believing that Obama will get deported simply because the very thought of it sends chills of excitement up and down my spine for a few minutes anyway. My question is, is living in hte US illegally constitute having committed a crime?

Does living in the US illegally constitute a crime?
Depends on the preponderance of political leanings of the judiciary.
Just imagine... 2 and a half centuries ago, the idea was that a judiciary could largely follow the law impartially. Who believes that here, now?

So, in other words, there’s no such offense as “illegal immigration.”
What pisses me off on this subject is we have no one to turn to on this... the GOP is all-in as well.
America is fast-tracking itself to oblivion.

Living in the United States LEGALLY is a crime. That’s the Obama view. How dare you narrow minded bigoted citizens discriminate against the poor illegal immigrants?

The U.S. already deports fewer than 1% of illegal aliens! This would reduce it to almost nothing.
