like on the water -- in the south Indian Ocean close enough to land for the pilot to survive and be picked up by a boat???
That's been a strong possibility from day one since the 4 ELTs onboard did not activate as they should have in a crash -- and the landing gear did not go down.
But with what endgame. The pilot is picked up and goes where?
