NBC News ^ | 22 April 2014 | Frank Thorp V

Posted on 04/22/2014 11:20:43 AM PDT by zeestephen

In March, Ryan said during an appearance on Bill Bennett's radio show that there is a "tailspin of culture, in our inner cities in particular, of men not working and just generations of men not even thinking about working or learning to value the culture of work."

I’m sick and tired of seeing the spokesmen for our side cave. But then again, this is the same Paul Ryan who lost the vice presidential debate in 2012 to Joe Biden—which would be like the Whittier College Poets beating the Florida State Seminoles in football.

CBC won’t be happy until all cultures are infested with the rot.

Makes no sense.

I agree. I've tried asking about a dozen liberals why my tax dollars buy some clown a free cell phone, other than to buy votes. Their response...crickets...

So Ryan will go meet with the plantation owners’ field foremen. Great.

My objection these days is to "Social Justice"

How is it fair that the makers spend ~ 40% (arguable fraction, I recognize) of their working time as tax slaves supporting the governments while the takers spend ZER0 % of their time helping the "village"? I submit that Time is a more valuable resource for our time on Erf than the 0bamaBuck$.

This dummy has backed himself into a corner not by his truthful statement but by apologizing for it.

He should stand up before them and point out that they are guilty of helping to destroy their own people, whom they pretend to defend.

But I’m afraid that the chance that he will do that is zero.

After being criticized as racially insensitive for his comments on unemployment in "inner cities," House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., will meet with the Congressional Black Caucus next week to discuss the issue of poverty, an aide for the CBC says.

The white guy that didn't say anything about race or skin color has to now genuflect and supplicate before an organization specifically based on skin color, and an organization to which he would not be welcome as a member because he has the wrong skin color.

Just say no. Tell them you meant what you said and they should be addressing the problems and not wonder what you meant.

Grow a pair.

...this is the same Paul Ryan who lost the vice presidential debate in 2012 to Joe Biden...

Although Paul Ryan has since devolved to "liberal lite", he still was a passionate, articulate spokesman for Constitutional Conservatism in that 2012 debate. In my opinion, Ryan utterly destroyed Biden with logic and wit. Granted, he wasn't as sharp as Governor Sarah Palin back in 2008 (who could be?) in the VP debate, but Ryan was still very good and had Biden sweating, squirming and tongue-tied. I'm not alone in that assessment as this Live Thread from October 2012 shows.
