If a meeting starts at 4:00 pm, and a prayer is given at 3:55 pm, the militant Atheists have no grounds for complaint. I’d prefer the prayer at 4:00 pm, but you do what you can until the thugs move on to another frivolous or destructive cause.
A prayer at a meeting does not take away any right to be an atheist or rock worshipper or whatever.
I can understand why the crooked politicians in local governments don’t want a prayer before their meetings. Prayer makes them look like a bunch of hypocrites.
A friend once told me that there should be no problem with public prayer, as long as the one praying doesn’t have to lay out a rug, get down on their knees and stick their butt in the air.
and if you don’t like ,you just found another use for your fingers and your ears
“Allowing”????
Try and stop us!!!
Yeah, but which prayers?
Prayers to Allah?
Prayers to Buddha?
How could one NOT support it?
