Former Clinton Labor secretary Robert Reich, now a prominent author and commentator, blasted Bundy on his Facebook page on Monday.
In what world is Cliven Bundy, the 68-year-old rancher who refuses to pay his tab for grazing cattle on federal lands, a patriot? Reich wrote. He drapes himself in the American flag but says I dont recognize the United States government as even existing, while attracting a collection of thugs with assault rifles in the Nevada desert to force the Bureau of Land Management to back down from a court-ordered confiscation of his cattle.
The comment from Reich, who now teaches at the University of California, Berkeley, comes after Nevada Democratic Sen. Harry Reid, the Senate majority leader, last week called Bundys supporters domestic terrorists.
Bundy had resisted efforts by Bureau of Land Management officials to seize his cattle, a move taken by federal officials as part of a long-running fight over unpaid grazing fees.
Hundreds of states rights protesters, some of them armed, showed up earlier this month to support Bundy. BLM officials ended up backing down, citing safety concerns....

Do they make horses that Reich can ride? Gunz he can shoot?
Reich’s analysis comes up a little short. Probably sounds better in the original German.
Reich...what’s that little bastige up to now? Answer: about 4’ 11”
The Turd Reich.
Bobby, after you’ve gotten a real job and worked for a coupla dozen years get back to us. Otherwise, STFU Munchin.
He said he does not recognize the US governments ownership of the land. Big difference, but all progressives miss represent the position of their opposition.
Reich’s brain is even smaller than his bod.
Shove it, Clinton simpleton.
Up your smelly Obamahole...er...Clintonhole.
Reich used Facebook to blast Bundy? That has to be a new low. How long before he’s driving a cab?
Well you little man, I dont recognize the United States government as even existing as it was at one time either. A good few of us want to fix that!
I don’t even listen to full-sized shitheads!
Robert Reich will never be "prominent".
Reminds me of that movie, “Honey, I Shrunk Clinton’s Former Labor Secretary”. LOL! Stand up Bobby!
Go away commie troll.
I met bobby once in San Francrisco..
hes a whiney ...sort of little man who may belong to one of those “affinity groups” we suspect suspect barry sotero of belonging to... WINK WINK
So if the federal government suddenly decides to fine us for frogs, lizard, turtles, we’re all supposed to just pay.
His family had been there for over 100 years before the feds just decided they were going to start fining him. Can the feds just decide on a whim that that can do this to any of us?
Bundy is just doing the work the turtles won’t do.
Be much better if he burned it, huh, shorty?
That is an outright lie. Bundy said nothing of the sort.
Reich is no more than he ever was: a greasy, stinking apologist for federal abuse and oppression. He and Berkeley deserve one another.
Lawn gnome Bob.
The desperation, of former and present federals, is spreading. They are sensing Americans have no fear of them.
Why should they? The armed citizens of this country are the largest army on Earth.
Wait, wasn’t he former Secretary of the Lollipop Guild?
At some point we will all have to bear the kings Marque. Ried, Riech, who next.
I just can’t wait for all the Clinton retreads to come out of the woodwork.
Along with Donna Shalalalalalalalalala. The Grass Roots wrote “Live For Today” for Donna, the naughty, naughty girl.
Don't forget "The Wild, Wild West."
Well Robert, as usual you conflate your assumptions to pretend an invalid point.
The methods by which the “Federal Government” decides just which dirt is “Federal land” are quite open to debate.
Taking an opposing view of those methods DOES NOT make Bundy unAmerican.
I will say this ... Watch the movements of those holding power and should they all leave at one time (vacate the nation) then their day of destruction upon the citizens will be close at hand. Had prayed this cup of vinegar would not touch my Children's and Grandchildren's lips. Currently I see those odds at greater than 50/50 and the cup of vinegar is being pushed ever closer to the People.
“Do they make horses that Reich can ride? Gunz he can shoot?”
The American Free market can, indeed, supply a horse Reich can ride. Google Amazon for “Hobby Horse”.
If a real, live horse for the Giftzwerg Reich is required, there is always someone willing to sell a Shetland pony or perhaps a miniture horse might be a better match.
Maybe a dwarf “Silky Pony”?
As for an appropriate gun for Giftzwerg Reich, I suggest a small water pistol or a cap pistol.
I am so tired of these assholes!
These are the same dumbasses who are cheering on, encouraging and supporting the uprisings in Libya, Egypt and Syria, but cussing and deriding Americans for wanting to push back against OUR government!
Screw them! Screw every damn one of these hypocritical asses!
What would be the point of a nuclear attack on the people of the United States? Where would they get the taxes and business customers they rely on? Also, wouldn’t it make vast swathes of North America uninhabitable for many years? And didn’t someone recently say that would cause a world-wide ice age?
The height-challenged villain in Wild Wild West was a giant of a man compared to Robert Reichhhhhhhhh.
Why doesn’t Sheriff Reich saddle up his miniature Shetland pony & challenge Bundy to his face (using a periscope)?
Well there are a ton of democrats in office that don’t pay their taxes and in this crazy world there are some that call them patriots.
He can ride up on one of those mini- ponies. Perfect fit.
Prissy little leftist, got the willies when the sergeant in charge of his pre-draft physical told him he’d make a good tunnel-rat in Vietnam.
My recollection was a statement attributed to him - something to the extent that he didn’t recognize the blm’s jurisdiction where he was grazing his cattle, that he didn’t see it as federal land, not a blanket thing about not recognizing the government (although these days what passes for “government” is pretty unrecognizable).
Shut up, you mini-turd.
Go out to Nevada and tell it to Cliven’s face, you little pansy
Apparently that was never part of the curriculum in my HS German classes. ;-)
R Reich should be on BO’s staff (now THAT is a play on words OR is it?)
Would bring truth to the statement
“When they are toes to toes, the nose is in it
When they are nose to nose, the toes are in it”.
He hasn’t ‘grown up’ in more ways than one....
That’s what these anti Constitution, America, and Freedom assclowns have been doing since the 60’s. They want to rule the way of their heros, like Stalin and Hitler and Mao and Castro and the rest of the dictators they love sooo much
Reichs basic complaint in his Higher Wages Can Save Americas Economy and Its Democracy is that monied interests have forgotten the century-old basic bargain at the heart of America that employers pay their employees enough to buy what they are selling.
Reich dates the basic bargain back to Henry Ford. Henry Ford announced in 1914 that he would pay workers on his Model T assembly line $5 a day three times what the typical factory employee earned at the time. Ford, according to Reich, took this step because he understood that the higher wage would turn Fords auto workers into customers for his Model Ts.
One side question for Reich: The U.S. became the worlds richest and most powerful economy in the late nineteenth century, decades before Fords bargain. Reich may want to explain how that could happen without employers agreeing to pay workers enough like the enlightened Henry Ford.
The recent push for higher wages we’ve seen from the Left is right out of Reich’s 2013 book. Reich, by the way, is a communist.
