Wreaks havoc on lawnmowers. If you leave gas in the tank over the winter, forget to dump and replinish and start er up you are out for a carb rebuild. I have had to change my decades old sloppy habits wrt lawnmowers. No slack or forgiveness now with this ethanol crap. It will screw up a mower big time.

You think mowers are bad, try a boat. There’s no way to empty the tank, and ethanol based gas lasts a few months at best. It also absorbs water like a sponge. So you have to keep the tank full to keep water out, but who can burn 125 gallons of fuel in two months? I can’t.

I have had the same problem with snowblowers. In the spring, you have to run the tank dry to keep from having to replace the carburetor in the following winter.

Thankfully, I have found two local retailers who sell E0 still, and all of my small engines and older vehicles are fed this.
