Just got off the phone with the credit card company and the tool store.
Over the weekend, BF dragged me into the Direct Tool Outlet store to buy a new weedwhacker to use at my house. Anyway, I bought the sucker and a reel of string, and the total was about $92.
I happened to check my credit card online, and it appears they charged me twice! So I call the credit card company and open a dispute. Then I decided to call the store. Before I even got started with my tale, the manager said “You were charged twice, right?”
Seems that particular day I went in the store, EVERYONE who paid with a credit card received duplicate charges. They said it should be worked out by the end of this week.
Sounds like another reason to start paying in cash all the time.
