Oh good, the first response to the thread is a disgruntled assuming negative comment about the TPM.

Don’t worry about Free Republic members, they think for themselves which is why many of them understand that the TPX is on the cutting edge of Conservative grassroots action out there in the field.

Free Republic and the Tea Party Express were involved from the very beginning working for what America needs to recover from the assault on it’s Constitutional Republic from the leftists as well as the GOP-e.

Of course The Tea Party/Anything label does not represent the sentiments of original Taxed Enough Already movement members.

But the TPX does.

Watch out for knockoffs just out just for themselves and using the tea party label for their own purposes.

Tea Party Express and Free Republic, partnered in these efforts BTW, are not among those I just described.

You misread my post and my intent. Negative on the "disgruntled" and I'm not new here; I too am a member of FR!

And yes I already do listen to and pay attention to the national TPX. I think they made the politically expedient choice in this instance, not the best one for conservatives.

My preferred candidate lost; so what? Lay off. My preferred candidates lose a lot of the time.
