Elizabeth Warren Offers Latest Version of Debunked 'Elopement' Story In New Book
Breitbart ^ | 23 Apr 2014 | Michael Patrick Leahy

In her new autobiography, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) reiterates claims that her parents "eloped" despite the existence of a marriage certificate and contemporaneous press accounts of their wedding.

Although the subject caused her a major headache during her 2012 campaign for Senate, Warren devotes less than 1,500 words in the book to her claims of Native American heritage.

...

Regarding the broader claim of Native American heritage, Warren's standard of proof in the book is simply "family folklore," unsubstantiated assertions made to her by family members about Cherokee and Delaware ancestors.

Despite a protacted public debate on the subject and investigations by numerous experts into the matter, there remains no credible evidence that Warren has Native American heritage.

She must be running for president, otherwise why would she be writing an autobiography? I might pick up a copy for those nights when I have trouble falling asleep.

At least not only can I prove my Native American ancestry, I look Indian. Sadly she looks entirely European, not Native American

Apparently Massachussetts voters have no standards when it comes to the integrity of their elected officials. They’d probably elect drunken womanizer who would abandon somebody and leave them to die.

Massachusetts voters have no standards when it comes to the integrity of their elected officials. They elected a drunken womanizer, who abandoned someone leaving her to die, over and over again.

Lying and deception is a resume enhancer for liberals. We just need to get over it, it isn’t going to change.

You can say the same about the electorate of this country who elected Barack Obama twice.

You might be right. I know there aren’t many samples to compare to, as many Indians want no part in it, from what I’ve read on the forums at 23andMe & FamilyTreeDNA.

Elizabeth Warren knew that she had no solid evidence proving her claim of Native American ancestry. Without such evidence, either she knew that she was lying in her job applications that touted such ancestry, or she knew that she might be lying. By falsely asserting that her unverified claims were true, she committed a fraud.

How can she still have a political career, or any real career? She should have been immediately fired from Harvard for appropriating benefits intended for a genuine Native American. By way of apologizing, she should have taken a job cleaning toilets on an Indian reservation.

Instead, she has paid no price at all, and is being considered for the American presidency.

I can't quite believe it.

I think the rule is that you have to be an 1/8th Native American before any Federal bennies kick in or a tribe votes you in as a member. Not likely these days with all that casino money floating around.

To be honest, that sounds like an elopement to me - the marriage “came as a surprise” to their friends, they announced it only after they were wed, etc.

To be honest, the few posts of yours I've read sound like the opinions of a Leftist.

Voicing the devil's advocate position is actually advocating for the devil.

I got your number.
