The twisters may touch down in the highly populated metro areas of Dallas, Kansas City and Omaha before shifting east towards St Louis, Memphis, Nashville and Baton Rouge, NOAA said.

I doubt that NOAA said exactly that. Twisters are not known for their ability to target urban areas. They may or may not hit one of those cities, but this sounds like they're entering coordinates into a control panel before launching.

Don’t we find it somewhat ironic that this “weather report” comes from the U.K.?

If indeed there are severe storms across the mid-south parts of the U.S. I pray for those who will be affected. God Speed!
