I read the article and nowhere did I get the impression Innis was “grandstanding”. Maybe you are reading too much into this.
Oh...I most certainly did. However, the difference between me and thee is that I actually know Niger and to you he’s just another politician. You don’t have a clue to his beliefs, etc.
Regrets, I was only referring to the infamous graphic where MSNBC added an extra “g” to Niger’s name, as opposed to the posted article. Thanks for the opportunity to clarify my remarks.
Interesting, isn't it? I wonder what j "hymietown" jackson or charlie "I don't pay taxes" rangle would have to say.
NOTHING.(new)
FMCDH(BITS)
Is that his name or did they put that there intentionally?
What do you think?
Doesn't sound like he took it though. Bundy should have kept to his business and managed his ranch. The media isn't going to do him any favors, and neither is he by talking to them.
On Bret Baer’s program Charles Krauthammer and two liberals were all denouncing Bundy is the harshest terms they could think of.
Maybe Niger Innis is named for Pescennius Niger, would-be Roman emperor in A.D. 193, who was defeated by Septimius Severus, the first African emperor of the Roman Empire (a native of Leptis Magna in Tripolitana, in what is now Libya).
>>Pundits on Fox last night were falling over one another in their zeal to denounce Bundy. <<
They were no more zealous that the liberal armchair patriots here on FR yesterday morning.
The racists card has been played. Next will come the “He is a homophobic” “He molested his children and grandchildren”. “He has a meth lab”. He has bomb making materials”. In which particular order I can’t say but you can bet that he will get the full treatment. And that is just by members of this forum.
What a difference a day makes, huh? At least the Lord knows who he can’t count on now.
I denounce stupidity and sloppy thinking when and where ever I see it. It's a full time job.
EXACTLY! I have posted this a couple times today. What a difference if Bundy had his mind right about the reality of the devolution of the black family and the results of that.
HUH?
Sad, isn’t it?
Will he speak with Sharpton and J.Jackson?
I told you I am looking him up. No need for name calling. In the past (when I was young and a little more naieve) I “thought” politicians were good after getting to meet them, exchanging ideas (hey he’s actually listening to me), shaking their hands, and then getting a smile from them (hey if they smiled it means they’’re a good person, right). After being called in to take a look at some of those same guys years down the road I realized I was duped. Many are out and out deadbeats that have loans and services provided to them that they never paid for, setting up shell companies to game the system and protect themselves from lawsuits so they can steal millions white collar style. And they use their lawyer buddies that are in on the scam to protect them. So if you think you “know” a politician and defend him without truly knowing his background and he lips up you’re just going to look silly later for defending him.
lips = slips; no pun intended
In my opinion, very.
