Wow you too. Same here as a child my family raised chickens. Believe me I have seen Roosters square off to see who would be the dominant boss of the group. The Winner would get on top of him after a good fight and the loser would just walk away and the winner kind of fluff his feather and held his head up high like saying “I’m the boss”. Very interesting I learned alot about chickens.

Did you also find that the hen fights were sometimes even more entertaining than the rooster fights? Less blood and less aggressive but it sometimes took them a LOT longer to reach a conclusion.

Sort of like their human gender counterparts, I guess.
